Photographic / Photography Studio

Whether you are a professional or amateur photographer you need to ensure that the studio you pick is the most appropriate for your shoot.  Galleon Studios was designed to offer photographers a wide range of facilities and equipment ideal not only to deliver a quality shoot but to give you a productive environment for yourself, models and your clients. 

To this end; we have created a studio with a large shooting wall and cove for your use, and toilet, shower, green room and kitchen amenities for you and your colleagues down time.  We also have a media room suitable for viewing your stills and wi-fi access to enable you to check your latest emails and keep in contact with your client.

Our studio equipment includes lights, backgrounds, bounceboards, reflectors, a still life table and much, much more. The lighting we have for hire consists of Bowens 250, 500 and 1500watt monoblocks that can be hired separately or as a group for £100 per day.  Our background rolls are available in a variety of colours (phone for details) and are charged for on a £2.50 “per foot” basis of use.  Additionally the cove and shooting wall can be painted any colour by Studio staff for an additional fee of £200 that includes transforming them back to their original white.

If your shoot is fashion or model orientated we have onsite an iron and ironing board as well as a clothes rail for a “crease free” experience.

Our kitchen is available for complimentary teas and coffee making but is even more suited to food photography.  It is beside the shooting area so that food can be prepared and photographed immediately.

Our still life table can be used in concert with our backgrounds and is perfect for product photography and the above mentioned food photography.

As a creative environment we consider the studio second to none.  If your client is present on the shoot you can discuss the project in our green room and both clients and models can wait in comfort while you compose and prepare your shots.

Previous successful shoots completed in our studio during its short life so far are; Fashion shoots, model photography, product photography, still life, portraiture, family portraits, car photography, and food photography.

The studio fee includes one hour’s free technical support.  If you need additional photographic help we offer an assistant for £100 per day.

We have an exceptional make-up artist available for £175 to £300 per day dependent on your requirements.
