Galleon Studios is ideally suited for your video shoot.  Why? Because Galleon Studios is home to Galleon Productions; a company specialising in corporate, pop promos short films and features.  As we’ve used the space ourselves on a variety of shoots we can offer (non-judgemental!) advice and suggestions on how to get the most out of our studio.  An hour’s free technical support is included with the hire charge so feel free to pick our brains if necessary.

Whatever your experience Galleon Studios can ensure your shoot goes smoothly. We have a long history of working on video production projects and we have the tools and equipment you need to make sure you have everything to hand. Our facilities are available for you to view with prior notice and can be used at the weekend for no extra hire cost.  On the day you can take advantage of our ample free parking, kitchen facilities, green room, toilet and wifi access.

Our previous hirers have included the BBC who filmed for their “Fire Detectives” programme airing 2008.  The space has been used by web developers to film intros for their clients websites, as well as having been used by pop promo directors, games developers and commercial companies for a host of variant projects. We are always happy to hear from other media and production companies and we encourage you to talk to us about your shoots requirements prior to filming.

Shooting In The Studio

We have a wealth of equipment available to hire for film shoots; this includes cameras, jib, track and dolly, preview monitors and much more.  Lights to illuminate the cove are already in place and our myriad of other lights (ARRI, Dedo et al)are always at hand for studio use.  To find out exactly what we have equipment wise you may email us for a full kit price list.

Crew Hire

We can also offer crew for your shoot should you be missing any key roles.  This might be directors, lighting camera operators, gaffers, make up artists, set builders and even catering facilities.  We also have post production facilities that can be hired seperately to complete your production.
