Live streaming terms
Live Streaming Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the live streaming services (“Services”) provided by Galleon Productions Ltd (“Provider”) to the Client (“Client”). By engaging our Services, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Scope
The Provider will deliver live streaming services for the scheduled event(s) as agreed in the service contract or booking confirmation. These services may include real-time streaming, streaming of pre-recorded content, platform management, and technical support.
2. Pre-Recorded Content Submission
If the event includes pre-recorded content to be streamed as if live, the Client must:
- Deliver all final video files in a usable and stream-ready format (e.g., .mp4, .mov) no later than 48 hours before the scheduled air time.
- Ensure the content is free from errors and suitable for public broadcast.
- Confirm that all content complies with intellectual property and broadcast standards.
Failure to meet this deadline will result in the content not being streamed. No refunds or credits will be issued for missed broadcasts due to late or unusable file delivery.
3. Technical Requirements
The Client is responsible for ensuring their internet connection and hardware (if applicable) meet the technical requirements provided by the Provider. The Provider is not liable for any disruptions caused by Client-side technical failures.
4. Platform Use and Availability
The Provider will stream the event on the agreed platform(s). While the Provider will take all reasonable steps to ensure uptime, we are not responsible for platform outages or third-party failures.
5. Intellectual Property
The Client affirms that they own or have secured rights to all content provided for the stream. The Provider accepts no liability for copyright or trademark infringements.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellation or rescheduling of a live event must be made in writing with at least 7 business days’ notice. Cancellation within 7 days may incur fees up to 100% of the agreed cost, depending on time and resources already committed.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Provider shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the live stream, including but not limited to lost revenue or reputational harm.
8. Force Majeure
The Provider shall not be held responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, internet outages, or government actions.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
